We will never forget what Henry and those like him did for our country.

July 26, 2009 Dear family of Henry Allingham, Like the rest of the world, we were most sorry to hear of Henry's passing on. I am a physician in Virginia. I live and practice near Washington DC. I am the son of David Allingham, the middle of three brothers, sons of Geoffrey and Dorothy Allingham. Geoffrey was born in Clapham. We're not sure if there's any relation, but my wife, Caitrin, and three children, Hayleigh, Myles, and Iain, all send their sincerest and deepest regrets for this loss. In keeping with your request, I am submitting a donation to St. Dunstan's, the institution for the blind, on-line, in Henry's name. I have lived in the states all my life. As a child, I used to visit my grandparents in Worthing summers to ride and jump horses. I remember Brighton fondly and look forward to bringing my family for a visit in the next few years. My wife has family in Ireland. We have visited them frequently, but never seem to make it to England. Understandably, we are curious about our British heritage. I have in fact maintained my British citizenship. We American Allinghams look forward to meeting you all some day. Again, we are most sorry to hear about this loss. Best regards, David Allingham, MD 10697 Oakton Ridge Court Oakton, Virginia 22124 Mobile 703 963 8422 Home 703 242 1741 Office 703 255 1190
